What you’ll need:

·      12 pounds Russet Potatoes

·      2 gallons of cold water

·      Oil

·      Salt

Prep time: 15 min ~ Cooking time: 2 to 3 min ~ Serves: 20 to 25

How you prepare it:

1)       Preheat deep fryer to 350° F.

2)       Add 2 gallons of cold water to a 15 quart container.

3)       Peel potatoes.

4)       Slice potatoes roughly one-fourth inch thick.

5)       Put potatoes in cold water and let soak for two minutes.

6)       Drain the water and pat the potatoes dry with a paper towel.

7)       Place slices into the fry basket and carefully lower into the oil.

8)       Fry potatoes two to three minutes, or until golden and crispy.

9)       Remove potatoes from oil and drain thoroughly.

10)  Add salt.

11)  Enjoy!
