Introduction
Hello my name is your Alison Lara. Originally I am from Tecumseh, MI, but currently I am living in Monroe, MI. I enjoy hiking and camping, or basically anything to do with outdoors or nature. I am a 25 year old college student that attends Washtenaw Community College. Currently I am pursuing a degree in Communication Technology with a minor in Graphic Design. This semester I am taking three different courses, one of which is Web Development 1 (WEB 110), this course teaches introductory skills necessary to building web pages. WEB 110 will give you everything you need to know when starting your own basic webpage or give you a good base to build your skills off of if you are interested in a more advanced skillset. Previous knowledge on the subject is extremely helpful but not required. Going into this class I had some prior knowledge of web development. I took a web development class my junior year of high school, while I did not remember everything, it was very helpful with my success in the class. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) was a new thing to me though but I have really enjoyed learning how it works. Learning CSS is the biggest thing I will take away from WEB 110.
